Welcome

The European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE) is an international autonomous organisation established by the chiropractic profession in Europe to accredit and re-accredit programmes providing first qualification chiropractic education and training. Its goal is to establish standards of excellence for the education and training of chiropractors as safe and competent primary contact practitioners.

Prospective students

As a prospective student wishing to train as a chiropractor, you should think carefully when choosing an educational programme. Of course, there will be many factors that you will have to consider, including where you want to study, the language a programme is delivered in and funding. However, a very important consideration is also the quality of the education and training offered at a programme, and the currency of your qualification once you become a chiropractor.

Accredited programmes

The programmes listed on this site meet the eligibility criteria for accredited status, and deliver education and training in full compliance with the ECCE standards. Status is granted by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Committee of the ECCE.
